Centre Administrator

Job title:         Centre Administrator

Reports to:     The CEO

Hours:             35hrs full time  (Mon to Wed 10:00 to 17:30 / Thursday 9:30 to 17;00 / Friday 09:00 to 4:30pm) 

Salary:            £23 - £28K by negotiation, depending on experience and track record.

Holiday entitlement:  28 days including Bank Holidays

We need a dynamic and hands on person to support our CEO in the Centre’s administration so that we  can continue to offer a high-quality service to all of the people who rely on our services.

The ideal candidate should have:

The ability to relate to the people who use the Therapy Centre, appreciate the challenges they face and understand our holistic approach to the treatments and services.

Drive and enthusiasm and a strong commitment to the Charity cause.

Significant, practical, hands-on administrative experience.

Experience in the administration of HR processes and procedures.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

The ability to apply strategic and creative thinking and to problem solve.

Events and Communications Support Officer

Job Title: Event and Communications Support Officer

Location: The Brightwell, Wheatfield Drive, Bradley Stoke

Hours: Part-Time 15 Hours pw

Salary: £19-£23k Pro-rata based on 35 hour week.

 

Position Summary:

We are seeking a part-time member of staff to support our Events and Community Fundraisers. In this role, you will be an integral part of our mission to raise funds and awareness of the charity. This will include getting out and about representing the charity at events, and liaising with donors, corporates, small businesses and the general public. In the office, it will include administrative, social media and practical tasks. While fundraising experience is not a prerequisite, we are looking for candidates with strong customer-facing, sales or service industry backgrounds. Your ability to think on your feet, excellent customer service credentials and willingness to learn and adapt are what we value most.

Member Engagement and Community Fundraising Officer

Job Title: Member Engagement and Community Fundraising Officer

Location: The Brightwell. Wheatfield Drive Bradley Stoke

Hours: Part Time 22.5 hrs

Salary: £20-£24k pro-rata based on 35 hr week

 

Position Summary

We are seeking a part-time Member engagement and Community Fundraising officer to join our friendly and supportive team at The Brightwell. In this role, you will be fostering a warm community environment for our service users (members), as well as working to agreed fundraising targets. You will be helping the team to raise funds and awareness through partnerships with Community Groups and individuals as well as Town and Parish Councils, small businesses and other local charities. You will also enhance member participation on events and attract new beneficiaries. Brightwell Cafe Coordinator

The Brightwell is a new café (and community hub) opening in November 2023.  We are looking for a dynamic Community Café Coordinator to support the operation of the café and lead a team of Volunteers.  

Job Title:       Café Coordinator

Location:      Bradbury House, Wheatfield Drive, Bradley Stoke, Bristol BS32 9DB 

Reports to:    Facilities Manager

Remuneration: £11 to £12.50 per hour

Position Summary

To support all functions of the Brightwell Cafe including providing  food and drinks, quality standards and a great Member experience.

The ideal candidate(s) for the job will have some experience in a customer facing environment and as team leader, including  knowledge of food hygiene.  Experience in a café environment and voluntary/charity sector would be an advantage.  Full training and support will be provided to allow the successful candidate to develop further in their career.
