Extended Opening Hours Officer.
(Evening and weekend)

Role:                      Extended Opening Hours Officer. (Evening and weekend)

(After training)       To oversea all aspects of our extended opening hours provision, and become proficient in the hyperbaric oxygen therapy provision.

Location:                The Brightwell, Wheatfield Drive, Bradley Stoke, Bristol, BS32 9DB

Responsible to:      CEO

Day-to-day supervision: Oxygen Coordinator

Hours of Work:       Up to 12 hours  - Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs 17:00 – 19:00

Sat 10:00 to 14:00  (depending on demand)

Initial training to take place during normal working hours 10:00 - 15:00

Rate of Pay:           £8,424 PA (based on 12 hrs per week)

About Us: The Brightwell has been transforming the lives of people living with neurological conditions for over 40 years. Based in Bradley Stoke, Bristol, we provide a unique mix of therapies, emotional support and peer connection all under one roof: for members living with conditions including MS, Parkinson's, fibromyalgia, ME/CFS and many more. In 2024 alone, we delivered over 14,000 therapy sessions to more than 460 active members.

We are looking for: a caring empathetic person with excellent communication and administration skills to join our Oxygen Therapy Team. The successful candidate will be able to relate to people from a variety of backgrounds and with a range of physical abilities.

The Role: This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who loves connecting with people and wants to make a real difference. You will be supporting the delivery Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy during our extended opening sessions.  You will be supporting the Volunteer Chamber Operators and carrying out all the necessary administration.

Community Fundraising Officer

Role:                  Community Fundraising Officer
Location:         The Brightwell, Wheatfield Drive, Bradley Stoke, Bristol, BS32 9DB
Responsible to:     Fundraising Manager
Day-to-day supervision: Marketing and Events Lead
Hours of Work:      10-15 per week. Some evening and weekend work required.
Rate of Pay:        £10,530 PA (based on 15 hrs per week)

We are looking for: A warm, enthusiastic and community-minded individual to join our small but passionate fundraising team and help us grow the income that keeps our vital services running.


The Role: This is is a varied, hands-on role for someone who loves connecting with people and wants to make a real difference. You will be supporting the delivery of our fundraising activities across multiple channels. From bingo nights and community collections to supporting at events and seeking local business partnerships.
You will be the friendly face of The Brightwell out in the community. Attending Parish Council meetings, approaching local businesses and schools, and building the relationships that sustain our work.
