Last year, MS People's Help gave us a significant donation to purchase items from our Brightwell Wishlist. MSPH have a Charity Shop in Thornbury and they aim to help people with MS as much as possible, so they have a more accessible, brighter, nicer and safer place to live.

Carers Week is a yearly campaign that aims to highlight the challenges faced by carers, and recognise the outstanding contribution that unpaid carers make to their families, friends and communities up and down the UK.

We are delighted to offer a new time for a P4 session on a Monday at 4.30 pm and 6 pm.

World MS Day is an international awareness day for everyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS). It brings the global MS community together to share stories, raise awareness and campaign for change. World MS Day is officially marked on 30 May but activities take place throughout the month of May and early June.

W have produced an Impact Report for 2024 and we are delighted with how it gives a great representation of everything that goes on here at The Brightwell.

This year’s AGM took place on Thursday 22 May at 2pm in the Bradbury Lounge here at the Centre.

On Thursday 12 June at 2pm we are holding a “Prevention and Management of Falls” talk here at The Brightwell as part of our Carers Support programme.
